I know many people who hang out here don’t care much about Technical Analysis (TA).

I used to be skeptical about TA, yet I was always the one asking “how far is the current trend going to last?” or “Is this the bottom? Is this the top?” and could never really figure it out.

Now, I am a true believer in TA. It’s not 100% accurate in terms of foreseeing the market direction (nothing is) but TA does give good actionable information.

Here is my TA of the current market condition.

The VIX indicators suggest the market could go up in the short term but there are still substantial concerns longer term.

SPX TA shows the current uptrend could keep going in the short term.
