Problem the startup solves:
Many people want to grow vegetables at home, but they lack the space to fit a large indoor garden. Smaller units make expanding the garden difficult. Therefore, we created the Verda Garden, the only automatic indoor hydroponics garden in the world that is designed to fit anywhere, even the smallest space. It also allows people to increase the vegetable’s growing capacity easily. Vegetables can be grown everywhere and become a new generation of home decor!

What is a crazy story about the startup?:
We’ve made the decision to create a machine that makes it simple for individuals to cultivate their own food. But launching a product is very difficult. We cannot afford to pay for expensive research, prototypes, or advertising. As a result, we submitted our application to various start-up funding sources. After numerous failures in funding applications, we finally won a start-up competition in Hong Kong. So we have enough funding to support our research, development, and early crowdfunding promotion.
What is a company the startup looks up to, and why?:
Dyson. He revolutionized the way a vacuum works and made it much more user-friendly than the existing product on the market. We are trying to revolutionize the way a indoor garden is. We believe an indoor garden does not necessarily have to be a large vertical garden or a small desktop garden. We came up with the idea that indoor gardens can be integrated with existing shelves and functioning furniture to allow people to grow their own food anywhere.
The company in four years will be…
One of the largest home indoor garden companies. – Create more products that allow people to grow more food at home,in an office, a restaurant, a clubhouse, a community center or any other public space. Vegetables can be grown anywhere! – Create a fully automatic IOT user-friendly system for growing vegetables on a large scale. It also involves rototics. We aim to promote growing your own food within people’s own communities. The carbon footprint will be lessened as the transportation of fresh food will not be necessary.
