Oslo-based Gire Mobility luggage €1.7M from Schibsted Ventures, others: Know extra


Oslo-based Gire Mobility, a B2B market for versatile on-demand automotive transportation, introduced that it has secured NOK 20M (roughly €1.7M) in a brand new funding spherical led by Schibsted Ventures with Møller Mobility Group and Semler Mobility.

Out of the overall, Schibsted Ventures invested NOK 10M, whereas Møller and Semler contributed NOK 5M every. 

The Norwegian startup says it’s going to use the funds for improvement and geographical growth.

“We see that the necessity for these sorts of providers is rising, and are experiencing potentialities for growth each in Norway and in new overseas markets. Vehicles are now not restricted to automotive distributors and garages,” says Stian Bødtker Berentsen, CEO of Gire.
