Meta removes Facebook account mandate from Quest VR—but is that enough? : technology


Yeah, the last update fucked my Oculus for a couple of days. I couldn’t log in at all. I had to factory reset the stupid thing and still had trouble.

This is NOT going to fix or change anything in a real sense, it just specifically removed the coupling to FACEBOOK itself. They still have you data and history, they are still FORCING you to log in with an account to even get to the Home Screen.

The thing is fun to play around with, but. It worth the BS that Zuckerberg want to force us into.
