There’s been a lot of news coverage on decisions from the US Supreme Court. From an investment perspective, should an investor ever be concerned by a countries public policy, if it doesn’t necessarily impact a business? The US is a capitalist country, so can one assume whether or not the “US empire is in decline” like the UK or “democracy is failing” as some news outlet calls it, it wouldn’t necessarily impact your investment return, correct? The US has gone through the Vietnam War, Korean War, civili rights movements, etc and the markets always come out on top.
