Equiti Capital Hires MaxxTrader’s Tracey Kent as Senior BDM


Equiti Capital, a forex and contract for difference broker, has hired Tracey Kent, a former Sales Director at MaxxTrader, as a Senior Business Development Manager.

Kent on Monday announced joining the Equiti Group subsidiary which doubled its profits in 2021.

She spent only 10 months at MaxxTrader, a multi-asset white label solution provider, before joining the UK-based brokerage.

Before MaxxTrader, Kent was a Sales Director at FlexTrade, a multi-asset trading execution and order management solutions provider. She spent two years and four months at FlexTrader.

She joined FlexTrader from FXSpotStream LLC, a provider of multi-bank foreign exchange aggregation services for forex spot, swaps and forwards.

At FXSpotStream, Kent acted as the Executive Director of Sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for one years and three months.

In the last 13 years, Kent has worked in other various sales roles across multiple organizations including at HC Technologies LLC, a premier algorithmic and discretionary trading firm with a specialty in the forex and futures markets.

During her very brief stint at HC Technologies, Kent was the Head of eFX Sales for Europe and Asia.

For three years and a month between September 2014 and September 2017, she monitored institutional sales across EMEA, Australia and Asia for online trading company, AxiCorp, now known as Axi.

She was also the Vice President for Europe and Asia Pacific Sales at California-based fintech company, Integral Development Corporation.

Kent traces her earliest sales role to ICAP, a London-based global interdealer broker that provides broking, execution and information services to wholesale markets. She spent five years, between April 2004 and March 2009, at ICAP as a sales executive.

Meanwhile, Equiti Capital recently appointed Steve Reeves, an industry veteran with vast experience in the broker-dealer industry, as a Non-Executive Director on its Board.

In a career spanning over 30 years, Reeves acted in critical capacities across various organization including as Group Financial Director at IFX Group, a financial trading and spread betting firm.
