EnerMech lands pre-commissioning contract for Salamanca FPU in U.S. Gulf



EnerMech has secured a major contract from LLOG Exploration Co. for pre-commissioning providers on the Salamanca Platform within the Gulf of America/Gulf of Mexico. 

This contract contains hydrotesting and nitrogen dewatering of three 8” infield flowlines, one 16” oil export pipeline and one 10” fuel export pipeline.  The award follows a earlier contract in for topside pre-commissioning providers which EnerMech secured in 2024.

The Salamanca Floating Manufacturing Unit (FPU) will function at a depth of roughly 6,400 ft of water with manufacturing from the Leon and Castille fields. With an preliminary manufacturing capability of 60,000 bopd and 40 million cubic ft of pure fuel per day, this venture is poised to make a considerable contribution to the U.S.’ power sector.
