ECBs Centeno is on the wires saying:

  • We’re nearly out of the woods on this inflationary cycle.
  • ECB price cuts are to proceed till inflation converges to focus on.

From the ECB yesterday,

Workers now see headline inflation averaging 2.3% in 2025, 1.9% in 2026 and a couple of.0% in 2027. The upward revision in headline inflation for 2025 displays stronger power value dynamics. For inflation excluding power and meals, employees undertaking a median of two.2% in 2025, 2.0% in 2026 and 1.9% in 2027.
