Drosoula Hadjisavva Joins Orbex as CMO


Drosoula Hadjisavva, the former marketing executive at BDSwiss, has joined forex and contracts for differences (CFDs) broker, Orbex as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

According to her Linkedin profile, Hadjisavva took over the new role in September.

Orbex was established in 2011 and offers trading services with forex and CFDs of commodities, stocks, indices and cryptocurrencies . With offices in Kuwait, Limassol and Jordan, the broker is licensed in several jurisdictions, including Cyprus, Mauritius, Seychelles and the United Arab Emirates.

In addition, the broker has a significant presence in the Middle Eastern markets and is now said to be in a major expansion phase.

A Seasoned Marketing Expert

Hadjisavva brings extensive industry experience to her new role at Orbex, having worked with several other brokers over the years.

She parted with BDSwiss last May after spending four years of her career with the broker. She joined there in March 2018 as the Head of Marketing and was later promoted to the role of Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to that, she was the Head of Marketing at FXCC.

Her other prominent work experience in the industry was a four-year and six-month-long tenure with IronFX. She joined that broker in September 2012 as a Project Manager in Marketing and then parted as the Head of Marketing.

Moreover, Hadjisavva comes from diverse academics. She is a Computer Science graduate from the National University of Athens and later finished her Master of Business Administration from the Cyprus International Institute of Management. Furthermore, she is a certified Chartered Marketer.
