The announcement comes through the PBOC and can go into impact from 3 January. This may see the home interbank FX market, the ChinaForeign Trade Commerce System (CFETS), observe buying and selling hours till 3.00am native time (from 11.30pm at present).

The time for the fixing for the yuan forex and spot closing each stays unchanged although at 9.15am and 4.30pm native time respectively.
