Latest Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 update

August 2, 2022: The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is getting the August 2022 security patch right on schedule, according to SamMobile. The update reportedly landed in Europe and has firmware version number F711BXXU2CVG8. Other regions should get the update in the coming days.

The update comes a few days before Samsung officially reveals the follow-up to the Galaxy Z Flip 3. But if Samsung’s track record is anything to go on, then you should still expect a steady stream of updates for the older foldable.

You can manually check for the update by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install on your phone.
