World Gold Council correction: Central financial institution gold shopping for in 2022 was the best on document

In a report issued on the finish of January the WGC mentioned central financial institution gold shopping for in 2022 was the best in many years.

They’ve now issued a correction:

• Replace as of seventh February 2023: following a correction to the historic information from 1950-1969, Gold Demand Developments has been amended to report that 2022 was a document 12 months for annual central financial institution shopping for. Beforehand, 2022 had been reported because the second-highest 12 months on document.
