Firefox for me.
I like supporting software that isn’t intrusive, and doesn’t have questionable – if not terrible – motives, functionality, and owners/operators. The same reason why I almost exclusively us DuckDuckGo as a search engine. I would be using Linux, as well, if (contrary to most) it wasn’t so hard for me to understand. (I have cPTSD, and it’s hard for me to make sense of things that aren’t almost immediately understandable… and I started on Windows before things got bad.) However, that doesn’t mean I don’t intend to use it one day – especially with how invasive Windows 10 – let alone Windows 11 – is.
I hope more people change and diversify away from negative sources and masters when they can in the digital space – although I know how hard or unassuming things can appear; given what I said above, and given how harmless things can appear to those unaware.
