Its an awfully bleak day in fairness markets right here in Asia.
As I publish
- Japan’s Nikkei is down 3.8%, SoftBank, whose share value has been
boosted by CEO Masayoshi Son’s guess on OpenAI, fell ~12%. - South Korea’s Kospi is down 5.6%. Program buying and selling was halted for five minutes with the ‘sidecar’ invoked.
- Shanghai Composite -1.7%
Narratives centre on this from earlier:
- New York Instances says ‘OpenAI leans towards ready till subsequent 12 months for IPO’
NYT cite 3 unnamed sources ‘aware of the matter’.
