The $1,199 M2 MacBook Air Cuts Too Many Corners : technology

I know tech people will shit on this take but from a technology commoner… it’s because reliability.

Right or wrong that’s why Apple fans are Apple fans.

In my experience I’ve always personally had MacBooks since college. One time I went with a brand new Lenovo because it seemed like a better deal, another time my work gave me an IBM. Both computers shit the bed within two years. One of them I’m still trying to recover precious pics and videos from.

My MacBooks?? I’ll use them for 3-4 years then still sell them for solid $. Rinse and repeat. Never had a single problem or virus with any of them, ever.

Same reason I’ve always had iPhones, 15 years of iPhones never had a single issue. I’m sure other phones have caught up now but I remember the days you had to be worried about your phone just freaking the fuck out and losing all your contacts. Never with iPhone.

That’s the way Apple fans see it.
