Sensex up 150 pts, Nifty close to 19,100; RIL, Airtel lead



Inventory market updates on October 30, 2023: Frontline indices had been seen buying and selling with a flat bias publish early volatility on Monday. Index heavyweight Reliance Industries helped offset losses brought on by a fall in auto and monetary shares.

 


After opening with a 100-point hole, the BSE Sensex slipped into crimson and touched a low of 63,431. The BSE benchmark, thereafter, recouped losses and was seen hovering round its earlier day’s shut at 63,800 ranges. The NSE Nifty50 was seen quoting across the 19,050 mark.

Among the many Sensex 30 shares, Reliance was up over 2 per cent after the agency reported a powerful set of earnings over the weekend. Learn Extra


Bharti Airtel, UltraTech Cement, Asian Paints and HDFC Financial institution had been few of the opposite notable movers.

 


Then again, Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti, Axis Financial institution, NTPC and Energy Grid declined 1-2 per cent every.


The broader indices – BSE MidCap and SmallCap too had worn out intra-day losses, and quoted across the dotted line.
