Patrick Tomlinson: Turning Green Tech into a Global Brand with Heart and Vision

For Patrick Tomlinson, marketing is never just about products—it’s about meaning, resonance, and timing. At just 36 years old, the Ukrainian-born strategist has built a cross-continental career turning complex technology into human-centered stories. Today, as Co-Founder and CMO of QELNIX, he’s helping redefine the face of smart energy infrastructure across Southeast Asia and beyond.

His journey began in 2007, when he enrolled at Kyiv National Economic University, majoring in international business and marketing. After completing his bachelor’s degree in 2011, he continued his academic path at London Business School from 2012 to 2013, earning a Master’s in Marketing and Brand Communications.

From 2013 to 2016, Patrick worked at Unilever’s Eastern Europe division, where he helped drive regional campaigns for various FMCG brands. His blend of creativity and commercial insight led to a relocation in 2016 to Singapore, where he took on a regional role at Unilever’s Southeast Asia HQ. There, he spearheaded digital transformation projects and integrated marketing initiatives across ASEAN markets.

In 2018, he joined NovaGrid Mobility, a rising player in the green energy sector. Over the next six years (2018–2024), he served as Global VP of Marketing, leading brand development, digital expansion, and multilingual go-to-market strategies across more than 10 countries.

In 2025, Patrick co-founded QELNIX, a smart shared power network company built on the belief that access to energy should be seamless, sustainable, and universal. As Chief Marketing Officer, he leads brand strategy, international expansion, and user acquisition across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Europe.

Patrick is the architect behind QELNIX’s unique emotional positioning—blending sustainability, tech, and lifestyle into a brand people trust. From launching the Q+ Incentive Program to customizing merchant-facing content, he ensures every touchpoint feels intuitive and authentic. His motto: “Technology must feel human.”

QELNIX, under his guidance, has grown from an infrastructure startup into a lifestyle-enabling energy network—with shared power stations deployed in malls, airports, and high-footfall districts.

“A great product may solve a problem,” Patrick says, “but a great brand makes people feel seen. That’s how we grow—with purpose, not just profit.”
