Oil Thesis at the moment? : stocks

Anyone still bullish on holding Oil companies? Or do you think the sector has peaked?

Thoughts on this thesis?https://financialpost.com/commodities/energy/oil-gas/opec-exhausting-spare-capacity-confirms-oil-bull-case

As far as I can tell Oil companies will continue to have good earnings for quite a while, but not sure what other factors to consider with recession incoming, geopolitics and fundamentals of the supply/demand.

Is the recent sell off due to fear in the market and people cashing in profits?

I’m not an expert so looking for any thoughts, thanks.
