Nonfungible token (NFT) market Magic Eden has pledged to refund all customers who have been duped into buying faux NFTs on its web site on account of an exploit.

In a Jan. 4 assertion, the corporate stated a bug in its newly deployed “exercise indexer” for its Snappy Market and Professional Commerce instruments primarily allowed faux NFTs to skirt verification and get listed alongside real NFT collections.
