Honoring Steven B. Hinchman, IPAA’s forty third Chairman of the Board


The Impartial Petroleum Affiliation of America (IPAA) right this moment shared unlucky information of the passing of Steven B. Hinchman (Steve), the affiliation’s 43rd Chairman of the Board, and steadfast chief throughout difficult pandemic occasions.

IPAA President and CEO, Jeff Eshelman, shared the next assertion:

I wished to share the unlucky information concerning the passing of IPAA’s forty third chairman of the board, Steven B. Hinchman (Steve) (07/24/1958–12/28/2024). Hinchman served as chairman of the affiliation from 2018-2020, and within the two years previous that time period he served as vice chairman. Steve was on the helm of our affiliation in the beginning of the pandemic, overseeing each in-person and the brand new digital board conferences throughout his tenure, and even participated in one of many first in-person conferences with trade and the federal authorities in 2020.

Steve’s Celebration of Life can be at 10:30 a.m on January 11, 2025 at Cypress Methodist Church, 13403 Cypress North Houston Rd, Cypress, TX 77429, with a lunch reception to observe. In lieu of flowers the household request donations to Interfaith CarePartners and Cypress Methodist Church.

Our ideas are with Steve’s household and mates. I, and a lot of the present workers, had the pleasure to work with and be taught from Steve. For that, we’re grateful. IPAA is a stronger group due to his volunteer management efforts.
