Cheniere Power introduced that liquefied pure gasoline (LNG) was produced for the primary time from the primary practice (Prepare 1) of the corporate’s Corpus Christi Stage 3 Liquefaction Undertaking (CCL Stage 3).
The commissioning course of continues, and Cheniere expects substantial completion of Prepare 1 to be achieved on the finish of the primary quarter of 2025, over six months forward of the assured completion date. Upon substantial completion, Bechtel Power will switch care, custody and management of the finished practice to Cheniere.
Full discover to proceed on CCL Stage 3 was issued to Bechtel by Cheniere in June 2022. CCL Stage 3 consists of seven midscale trains, with an anticipated whole manufacturing capability of over 10 million tonnes every year (mtpa) of LNG.
As of November 30, 2024, total undertaking completion for CCL Stage 3 was 75.9%, which displays engineering 96.8% full, procurement 97.2% full, subcontract work 87.7% full and building 39.2% full. Upon substantial completion of all seven trains of CCL Stage 3, the anticipated whole manufacturing capability of the Corpus Christi liquefaction facility can be over 25 mtpa of LNG.
