B-Stock is so excited to welcome Morane Elbaz to the Product team this summer! As a summer teammate, we know Morane will be an incredible asset to the company. Morane is currently working on their Master’s in Business Analytics at Columbia University. Learn a bit more about Morane and see their answers to some questions below.
Q: What are you most excited to learn at B-Stock?
I am most excited to learn more about analytics and how to play around with data to make strategic decisions.
Q: When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? (Or still want to be!)
When I was a kid, I wanted to be an architect. Then I realized I loved numbers and majored in Mathematics!
Q: What is one piece of advice you’ve been given that has stuck?
Do what makes you happy, and don’t care what others think.
Q: Where can people find you after work or school?
Playing board/card games with friends or playing with my dogs.
Q: What is a hidden talent of yours?
A hidden talent of mine is that I can draw.
Q: What plays in the background while you work (music genre, podcast, news)?
I enjoy working in silence better. But I love electro music.
Q: Where would you go with unlimited PTO?
I would love to travel to Iceland and to South America!
Q: What do you do when you’re stuck creatively? How do you get the creative juices flowing?
I usually like multitasking so when I am stuck I work on a different project and when I get back to the initial one it’s like I get a fresh start on it. It helps me a lot to come up with new ideas because I will keep thinking about it.
Q: What’s something you’ve accomplished that you’re proud of?
I am proud of my journey and where I am in life right now. I graduated with a BS in Mathematics and am now getting my Master of Science in Business Analytics. I can’t wait to see what my next accomplishment will be.
Q: What is one thing you hope to contribute to B-Stock?
As a Product Data Analyst Intern, I would love to contribute to B-Stock’s growth and bring value to the customers.
