Subsea7 wins LLOG contract for Buckskin South subsea growth offshore U.S.


Subsea7 has been awarded a sizeable subsea set up contract by LLOG Exploration Offshore for the Buckskin South Enlargement venture within the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.

The Buckskin discipline is positioned about 305 km off the coast of Texas. Subsea7’s scope of labor contains transportation and set up of a subsea umbilical and inflexible flowline in water depths reaching roughly 2,100 m.

Challenge administration and engineering actions will start instantly from Subsea7’s Houston workplace, with offshore set up campaigns scheduled for 2026 and 2027. Subsea7 classifies the award as a sizeable contract, with an estimated worth between $50 million and $150 million.
